SUMMARY

Be responsible for implementing the displaying, designing and decorating plans for the Department Store following the guidance of the (Senior) Visual Merchandising Executive, in addition to assisting the (Senior) Visual Merchandising Executive on job-related issues.

RELATIONS 

Report to       : (Senior) Visual Merchandising Executive

Internal         : All Parkson’s staff

External         : Decorating & designing Suppliers, Promoters

Supervises     : None

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-         Make sure all promotions are executed accordingly to the plan:

o        Implement the design, display and decoration plans during the Promotion launch.

o        Report to the (Senior) Visual Merchandising Executive about the progress of the assigned tasks.

o        Communicate with other team members to ensure that the work is consistent with the plan.

o        Co-operate with the team to ensure the deadline of the assigned projects.

-         Implement sourcing and production for promotions:

o        Work well with the display and design suppliers to assert the work is on track.

o        Work closely with the (Senior) Visual Merchandising Executive to find out and analyze potential well-fit suppliers

-         Day-to-day work in the store::

o        Make sure all visual merchandising areas are well maintained.

o        Work closely with the counters’ staff for the quality and standards of display, design and decoration.

o        Style for mannequins in accordance with the direct guidance from the Senior Visual Merchandising Executive.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

-         At least 1 year experience as a designer, with:

o        Minimum 20 years old.

o        Professional degree.

-         English ability: Pre-Intermediate in speaking.

-         Have good analyzing, negotiating, interpersonal and communicating skills.

-         Honesty, integrity, carefulness.

-         Proficient in Graphic software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Office software (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
